My Self

Welcome everybody!

I’m Sarrah’s Father, my name is Qay (Khalid) and among other thing I’m a husband, a father to a few little partners at home, that lives in Shah Alam with my incredible wife. After a long day in travelling across the country, my favorite way to unwind is to work out or play in the kitchen area with my little bosses! It may sound a little dramatic, but i really consider that moment a major turning point in my life.

I’ve always been a decent baker, since I grew up frequently making ‘lempeng pisang and lempeng kelapa’ and sambal bilis with my mom. But, I didn’t begin cooking until after I realized that it would be nice to survive on more than what I have in the real world..

I realized how much I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen and reading food blogs, and decided to create this blog to share ideas, food adventures and my experience as well.

I love making cakes and maybe I could make some money at it, but I don't want to be tied to a bricks and mortar 'cake business'. My dream had always been, to have a creative outlet that would pay the bills, allow time with my kids to see them grow up and the freedom to travel and still make money whether I'm working or not.. hehe
